This is a generic check-list of what should be done before a live broadcast. Not all of this will apply to every show.

Studio streams

Sound

  • Microphones patched at both ends
  • Line and patch checks
  • Audio gets to the Sound board
  • Sound check
  • Audio EQ and mix
  • Audio to OB unit

Vision

  • All cameras patched
  • Signals being received in the gallery
  • All monitors working as required
  • Cameras assigned to sensibly-ordered input on ATEM
  • VT playback
  • Graphics from the graphics machine
  • Graphics loaded into graphics machine

General

Recording
