    • Color correction
  • 4 audio inputs
    • Can do "audio follow"

Krammer PiP

  • Format convert (PAL, NSTC, SECAM...)
  • picture size & location control via panel
  • all controlable over serial

DaVE P169

An 8x4 Video switcher, with 8 inputs, and four duplicated outputs.

'Input 5' brightens anything inputted to it, 'output B' seems weak when trying to drive a monitor and Magic DaVE directly from the two output sockets.

DaVE 2 is VERY picky as to what it eats, output 2 is fine (DaVE will herringbone when unhappy)

VT 8x4 Video Switcher

(Also referred to as 'VT P169' because it replaced the actual 'VT P169' which was identical to the current DaVE P169)

Camera / Rifle-Mic

After many problems with using the rifle mic with Sony HDV and Canon DV cameras, this page has been created.

A description of the layout of what each of the 18 monitors usually displays.

  • WidgetBoxes - a guide to YSTV's collection of wierd and wonderful little boxes that convert between video formats, split video and the like. A solution to (almost) any connection problem can be found here!
  • VideoRecorders - otherwise known as VT Decks, these are all the tape machines used in and around the station.
