The Blackmagic Design Micro Videohub is a 16x16 HD matrix to replace the mux.
Connections
The hub has 16 SDI inputs and 16 SDI outputs. Any input can be routed to any number of outputs.
Formats
The hub will take any SDI format up to 2K, and can run different formats on different inputs.
Control
Control is provided through the software control, which is stored on the software drive and is fairly simple to operate with minimal experience.
Used
The video hub is currently in OB2 where it has lived since about the end of 2017. It rarely gets used in the day to day work of YSTV but will get more utilised in the larger streams that happen several times a year.
